The 2026 edition (25–30 August) is a double header: the Kite-Surf division competes in North Sea waves while the brand-new Hydrofoil Big Air division makes its tour debut — two world-title battles on one beach.

The GKA Kite World Cup Sylt is Germany's flagship tour stop, held at Brandenburger Strand in Westerland alongside a huge beach festival. Part of the GKA Kite World Tour — the official world championship series sanctioned by World Sailing.
