About this spot
Dornumersiel is a tidal North Sea spot located behind a dike. At high tide, it provides a large area for kiting, though the water can be quite choppy. The spot is strictly regulated and kiters must stay within the designated Kitesurfzone. The ground is muddy (watt), so booties are recommended. It works best in North, Northwest, and Westerly winds. Be sure to check the tide tables before heading out.
