Mikri Vigla on Naxos is a premier Cycladic spot known for its reliable Meltemi wind and long sandy beaches. Compared to its neighbors, it offers a slightly more relaxed atmosphere while still providing high-quality freeride, freestyle, and foiling conditions. The northerly Meltemi is strongest from May to September, often accelerated by the island's topography. The beach features schools, rentals, and nearby accommodation. It is suitable for all levels, but riders should be mindful of gusty conditions and specific offshore sections depending on the exact position in the bay. Some rocky reefs are present in the surrounding areas.
