Vlugt opened KOTA 2025 with a solid Round 1 that earned a direct pass into Round 3, where changing conditions ended his run, after which he supported teammate Zara Hoogenraad as her caddy in the women's final rounds. A 2021 documentary followed his journey to that year's King of the Air.
