The GKA's 2024 mid-season report credits Lopes with two tour-stop wins that year, with the brand's own channels celebrating his Ibiraquera victory. In 2025 he exited Sylt in Round 3 alongside Pedro Matos and lost a tight Taiba heat to title-chaser Gabriel Benetton, before progressing comfortably through Round 1 at the 2026 Ponta Preta opener.
Away from competition he joined Duotone teammates Reno Romeu and Liam Whaley on the brand's Alaska expedition. Duotone lists him as Cape Verdean while GKA materials list him under Spain - the conflict is recorded rather than resolved here.
