Sol claimed her eighth world title with a comeback win at Lords of Tram 2025, after winning the season opener in Jericoacoara in late 2024. Per Wikipedia she holds four GKA Freestyle world titles (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022) and three Big Air titles (2018, 2022, 2023), and was the first female to land a 317 in competition.
Born in 2004 and originally from Jericoacoara, Brazil, she started kitesurfing at eight and was a four-time junior world champion by thirteen.
