About
Pianosi withstood Max Maeder's 40-knot charge in the Sardinia Grand Final to claim his first world title in October 2025, weeks after getting married, calling it probably the biggest win of his life. A month later he added the 2025 Formula Kite Youth world title in a final against Maeder, Gian Stragiotti and Vojtech Koska - his second world title of the year.
His build-up included the 2023 European Championship in Portsmouth, bronze at the 2024 Europeans behind Maeder and Axel Mazella, and silver at the 2024 Worlds.
