Ride Engine is a US watersports brand best known for bringing the moulded hard-shell harness to kiteboarding. Founder Coleman Buckley started with custom harnesses built in his Santa Cruz garage around 2010; after partnering with Slingshot sister company 7-Nation in 2013, the Armor harness line launched internationally in 2015. Today the brand makes hard-shell waist harnesses, wetsuits, foils and accessories from its base in Hood River, Oregon.

Ride Engine grew out of Coleman Buckley's garage in Santa Cruz, California, where he began building custom moulded hard-shell harnesses around 2010 because no harness on the market rode the way he and his friends wanted. In 2013 Buckley partnered with 7-Nation, a sister company of Slingshot Sports, and the refined Armor hard-shell harness line reached international markets in summer 2015, followed by wetsuits the same season. The brand is credited with popularising the hard-shell harness in kiteboarding and is based in Hood River, Oregon.
