About this spot
Diani Beach is a premier East African spot on the Indian Ocean, protected by an outer reef that creates a vast turquoise flat-water lagoon. The spot operates on two distinct trade-wind seasons: the Kaskazi (NE) from December to March and the Kusi (SE) from June to September.
The water is warm year-round, requiring no wetsuit. With its white powdery sand and consistent side-shore winds, it has become a central hub for kite camps and clinics in Kenya.
