About this spot
A dramatic destination where the desert meets the ocean. The spot is powered by strong south trade winds from October to March. Given the cold Benguela current, a thick wetsuit is essential.
The area offers vast, empty beaches and a growing kite camp scene. Pelican Point lagoon is the highlight, providing flat water conditions ideal for speed runs and freestyle.
