About this spot
El Yaque is a world-famous flat-water destination on Margarita Island. Known historically as a major hub for both windsurfing and kitesurfing, it offers exceptionally reliable trade winds throughout the season.
The shallow water and offshore-blowing wind create butter-flat conditions, making it an ideal location for freestyle and speed. The infrastructure is well-developed with many schools and amenities right on the beach.
