About this spot
Lakey Peak is a world-famous surfing destination on the island of Sumbawa. While primarily famous for its high-performance waves, it offers significant potential for wave kiting when the wind direction aligns.
The spot is best suited for experienced kiters using directional boards. When the trade winds pick up, the reef breaks provide excellent ramps and down-the-line riding opportunities.
