About this spot
Torbole is a classic alpine lake spot located at the northern tip of Lake Garda. It is famous for its thermal wind patterns: the northerly Pelér blows in the early morning, followed by the southerly Ora in the afternoon.
The spot offers a dramatic mountain backdrop and freshwater riding. Due to the local topography and wind strength, it is a favorite for both kitesurfers and windsurfers, though boat launches are often required to reach the best wind zones.
