About this spot
Located at the IJsselmeer near Mirns, this is one of the most famous shallow-water spots in the Netherlands. The water remains knee-to-waist deep for hundreds of meters from the shore. It is a premier destination for beginners and those practicing freestyle tricks due to the extremely flat water and safe environment. It can get crowded on weekends with favorable southwest winds.
