About this spot
A 40km long shallow lagoon offering butter-flat water on the inside and Atlantic waves on the outside. Trade winds blow over 250 days per year, with the peak season running from April to October.
The lagoon is beginner-friendly due to its shallow nature, while the ocean side attracts intermediate to advanced wave riders. The area is home to a famous kite camp scene and permanent infrastructure.
