Profile accuracy
You are responsible for keeping your listing information accurate and current.
Claims and verification
KSO reviews all claims and may approve, reject or revoke status at any time.
Media rights
You confirm you own or have rights to all images you upload.
Reviews
Honest community reviews are protected. Policy-compliant reviews are not removed on request.
Badges
Badges reflect earned trust levels. Misuse may result in revocation.
No guarantees
KSO is an information service. We do not guarantee safety, wind, bookings or outcomes.

Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to any person or entity that submits, claims, manages or interacts with a business listing on the KitesurfingOfficial Trusted Network, including:
• Business owners and co-owners
• Managers and authorized employees
• Trip organizers and coaches
• Agencies acting on behalf of a listed business
By claiming or submitting a profile, you confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of the business.

Business profiles
Profiles on the KSO Trusted Network may be:
• Submitted by the business owner or authorized representative
• Pre-populated from public sources (such as websites, maps or social profiles)
• Imported from partner data sources
• Claimed by the business after creation
Claimed owners may suggest updates and improvements through the Business Portal. Unclaimed profiles may contain information that has not been verified by the business.

Accuracy responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that the information on your profile is accurate, current and not misleading. This includes:
• Contact details (phone, email, website)
• Business description and services
• Photos and media
• Certification claims
• Safety information
• Pricing and availability where listed
KitesurfingOfficial reserves the right to hide or flag listings where information appears incorrect, outdated or misleading. Deliberately false information may result in permanent removal.

Claims and verification
KSO reviews all claim requests before approving them. We may:
• Approve claims that meet our verification criteria
• Request additional proof of ownership
• Reject claims that do not meet criteria
• Suspend a claim if ownership becomes disputed
• Revoke approval if new information suggests the original claim was inaccurate
Verification status (Verified, KSO Approved) is granted at KSO's discretion and reflects a point-in-time review. It may be reviewed or changed if circumstances change.

Photos and media rights
By uploading photos, videos or other media to your KSO profile, you confirm that:
• You own the image or have the rights to use it in this context
• The image accurately represents your business
• You are not using competitors' images, stock photos without license or AI-generated misrepresentations
KSO may remove images that appear to violate third-party rights or misrepresent the business.

Reviews and owner replies
Community reviews are independent rider opinions and are not created or edited by KSO or the business.
As a claimed owner, you may reply to reviews publicly. Your replies must:
• Be professional and respectful
• Not expose the reviewer's private data
• Not include promotional content
• Not threaten or harass riders
KSO may hide replies that violate these terms. Negative reviews that comply with the Review Guidelines will not be removed on request.

Badges
KSO trust badges reflect your current status in the Trusted Network and may be embedded on your website subject to the Badge Guidelines.
You must not:
• Display a badge level you have not earned
• Continue displaying a badge after it has been revoked
• Alter the badge's design, colours or proportions
KSO may revoke badges at any time if a business no longer meets criteria or misuses the badge.

Featured and commercial placements
Featured Partner placement is a separate commercial product from trust signals and verification.
• Featured Partner listings are clearly labelled as commercial
• Featured Partner status does not affect Trust Score
• Featured Partner status does not affect award eligibility
• Featured Partner status does not confer a Verified badge
Future commercial options will be offered transparently and separately from editorial trust signals.

Removal and moderation
KitesurfingOfficial may hide, flag or permanently remove a listing if it:
• Violates these terms or the Directory Guidelines
• Contains false, misleading or dangerous information
• Represents a closed or non-operational business
• Has accumulated unresolved quality complaints
• Is a duplicate of an existing listing
• Is used for purposes other than representing a genuine kite business
Where possible, KSO will contact the listing owner before taking action.

No guarantees
KitesurfingOfficial provides the Trusted Network directory as an information and discovery service.
We do not:
• Guarantee wind conditions, weather, safety or rider outcomes
• Guarantee the accuracy of all listing information
• Guarantee that any booking, purchase or lesson will meet expectations
• Guarantee the operational status of any listed business at time of booking
Riders should always confirm conditions, safety protocols and inclusions directly with the business before booking or travelling.
