Lagoa Azul is the second most famous freshwater lagoon near Jericoacoara. It is a quieter alternative to the often-crowded Lagoa do Paraíso.
The lagoon features perfectly flat, shallow water and clear visibility. It is an ideal spot for freestyle progression and beginners looking for a stable environment away from the ocean chop.
